2008-05-08 - Participation in Tourist Exhibition WEEKEND TOURISM Rousse 2008

The 4^th edition of the tourist exhibition WEEKEND TOURISM Rousse 2008, as well as the First Festival of Tourist Entertainment and Animations will be held May 8-10, 2008 in Rousse. The events are held under the patronage of Mr. Bojidar Yotov, Mayor of Municipality Rousse, in cooperation with the State Tourism Agency, and are open for everyone to visit at the Theatrical complex Dohodno Zdanie, 4 Svoboda sq. in the town of Rousse.

Partners of municipality Rousse in the organization of the events are European Spaces 21 Association and Regional History Museum -Rousse.

The official opening of the exhibition is on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 2 p.m.

In 2008 the registered participants will be presented at 35 pavilions and the program consists of 30 presentations. The Festival of Tourist Entertainment and Animations, which is a new event, is expected to attract even more visitors. There are 17 products with more than 6 hours of program and over 100 participants. A competent jury will judge the tourist products and reward the best of them.

As in 2007, Municipality Svishtov in coop with Council of Tourism-Svishtov and the Business Center have organized presentation of the tourist perspectives in the region at a separate pavilion. This year's accent is the forthcoming First Festival of Ancient Rome "Eagle on the Danube" which is to be held June 26-29 in Svishtov.
