Friday, 18 September

  • 9:30 a.m.
    – Museum of History: International conference "The presence of Goths in Moesia and Thracia" (opening). The conference continues until 5 p.m.
  • 11:00 a.m.
    – Roman Town Novae, "Tourist Visitor Center" - opening of demonstrations (Roman legionaries train visitors in shooting, firing ceramics, etc.)
    Everyday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. until the end of the Festival. Working Hours for the Tourist Visitor Center - 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • 5:00 p.m.
    – Archaeological museum - "Goths in Novae - an unknown page" - Exhibition of undisplayed unique objects and artifacts from Novae
  • 6:00 p.m.
    – Nikolay Pavlovich Art Gallery - Exhibition "Megaliths across the Bulgarian lands"
  • 7:30 p.m.
    – The Monuments Site - reception of Festival's Fire & Official Opening

Saturday, 19 September

  • 11:00 a.m.
    – OPEN FOR VISITORS: Roman Castrum, Barbarian camp (Town Stadium), Info centers and craft shops at the Central Square.
    Everyday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. until the end of the Festival
  • 4:00 p.m.
    – Town Stadium Academic - First demonstration of all reenactors (parade, battles)
  • 7:30 p.m.
    – Kaleto Amphitheater - dances and Roman readings
  • 8:45 p.m.
    – Kaleto Amphitheater - Official award of the prize for contribution to the protection of cultural and historical heritage. (Prize winner for 2009 is Prof. Bojidar Dimitrov, who will receive the award from the mayor of Svishtov Mr. Stanislav Blagov)
  • 9:00 p.m
    – Kaleto Amphitheater - Gladiator fights

Sunday, 20 September

  • 11:00 a.m.
    – Roman Town Novae, "Tourist Visitor Center", Villa Extra Muros - (rituals: Roman wedding - Nova Roma and theater cast)
  • 12:00 a.m.
    – Roman Town Novae, "Tourist Visitor Center", Villa Extra Muros - (presentation of Roman dishes with degustation)
  • 4:00 p.m.
    – Kaleto Amphitheater - Gladiator fights
  • 6:00 p.m.
    – Roman Castrum (Town stadium) - final ritual (battle)
  • 7:30 p.m.
    – Legionaries' parade through the streets of Svishtov to the Central Square
  • 9:00 p.m.
    – Aleko Square - Official closing ceremony; Ritual of closing; Drawing of lottery winners
